There is still a lot to be discussed on the subject of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), the official UFO investigation of the United States that took place at the Pentagon from 2007 to 2012, receiving a total of 22 million dollars during this period.
There are still many unanswered questions, such as why most of this budget was passed on to billionaire Robert Bigelow’s aerospace company, the real involvement of the US Department of Defense in the recent release of UFO videos, and what the truth is about materials recovered from UFO crashes.
Such answers have not yet emerged, but one of those involved in the matter, Christopher Mellon, recently gave an interview in which he spoke about the encounters that the US military has experienced.
Mellon confirmed the veracity of such occurrences, stating that the most incisive fact are the circumstances of these cases, in which the witnesses were the best military officers supported by the most sophisticated sensors and equipment available on several different platforms.
Christopher Mellon stated that he was contacted by a former Department of Defense (DoD) employee who was linked to the investigation program, and who made several comments about one of the already known videos.
As this unidentified witness said, the naval battle group commander who sent the video to DoD asked for help understanding what they were finding in the skies.

Mellon stated that there is no theory as to what such objects might be, and added: “We have on the one hand something of immense strategic importance, which raises fundamental questions about the viability of our defenses, and on the other various government departments and institutions obtains such information and does not disclose it, there is no joint investigative effort.”
Mellon concluded by stating that over the last few years the quality and quantity of platforms with sophisticated sensors has multiplied, allowing much more detailed information to be obtained about these occurrences.
